About Fred Perry: Fred Perry was an English tennis star (and killer ping pong player) who won 8 career Grand Slams and went on to start a small sweatband and tennis shirt company in 1952. Their polos were adopted by the mods in the 1960s, and some 65 years after their inception, Fred Perry polos and their laurel wreath are still as cool as they come.
