This sweater is one of a kind -- beautifully clean and smooth but densely knit and very heavy. If you're looking for a winter-weight sweater but hate fluffy or scratchy knits, this is the perfect alternative. The closest analog we can think of is a British military sweater -- densely knit and built to last. 

FABRIC AND ORIGIN:

  • COLOR: Navy
  • CONTENT: 100% merino wool
  • WEIGHT: 5 gauge knit. Heavy weight. It is not a terribly thick sweater, but it is very densely knit, hence the weightiness of the garment. 
  • TEXTURE: Smooth and soft. Merino wool, compared to other types of wool, has a cleaner surface texture (less fuzz / loft) giving it a sharp, crisp, refined look. 
  • ORIGIN: Made in Pescara, Italy
