We fell in love with this new polo from Filippo de Laurentiis at first sight.  This shirt has little in common with its alligator or polo player clad cousins bearing the same name. While those are best suited for heading to the grocery store or paying your accountant a visit over zoom, these silk and linen iterations from the masters of Italian Knitwear remind us more of Frank Sinatra poolside in Palm Springs in the 1960s, or the iconically stylish crowd immortalized by Slim Aarons at the Hotel Pelicano in the 1970s.

The silk / linen blend feels soft, drapey and luxurious, with a dry, matte texture (this silk isn't shiny at all, but it sure is soft) coupled with a beautiful vertical ribbed knit pattern.  Its lightweight and breathable.  Perfect when you want to look refined and put together under the sun.  We love it dressed up or dressed down.  It would look fantastic under a suit or blazer for an evening out.  Or, pair it up with chinos, jeans or shorts.
